A week that
stays with you
Cup No. 1 has welcomed young football players to Frederikshavn since 1984 — back then under the name Dana Cup. What started with 130 teams from 6 nations has grown into one of Europe's most respected youth tournaments, with almost 9,000 teams from more than 100 nations having played here over the years.
Every match is played on grass pitches just minutes apart, and the week always ends the same way: finals under the lights at Frederikshavn Stadium, in front of 15,000 seats. Behind it all stand more than 600 volunteers who make sure every team feels at home.
We're not trying to be the biggest tournament.
We're trying to be the best.
